One of the more unusual products we offer is train hire.  Our clients are not always aware that you can hire a whole train taking a large amount of people to their destination economically, eco-friendly and in comfort. 

Convenience is paramount to the operation of any charter and by hiring your own train there is no need to stick to conventional routes.  There may not be a service train directly from Southend to Birmingham, but your charter train can fulfil such a journey.  It can also call at other station along the route giving you flexible pick up and set down points.

There are different types of train available to the charter market. 

The “people mover” is an ideal train for sporting events and offers a high-capacity train with standard class seating throughout.

For a more luxurious affair take our all first class option.  It reduces the capacity of the train, but you have reclining seats, more leg room and a table at every seat.

For the ultimate travel experience hire our Pullman train. Pullman luxury in vintage carriages gives you a day to remember.

What’s more we can combine some or all of these options into one train.  Flexibility is the key to train chartering.

Catering is also available (Our Pullman train comes with this included).  From a simple pay as you go buffet service through to an at seat trolly service right up to a full dining experience.  Most of our trains convey a full kitchen car which can cater for gourmet meals.  Full English breakfast, hot and cold lunches and gourmet dinners served with the finest wines and champagnes can all be made available onboard your train charter.

How about branding your train, from the front of the locomotive down to the antimacassars (head rests) through to the table ware.  Branding can be achieved easily onboard your train charter.

Finally, we can make your day special.  Imagine arriving at the station to find a vintage steam locomotive at the helm.  This works especially well for “land cruises” (trains taking you on scenic day trips) and will impress friends, family, colleagues and competitors!
