Introducing Crystal, our beloved ex-racing dog who may be small and furry, but she's captured the hearts of our partners and customers alike!

Now, Crystal's true passion lies in chasing trains—she's lightning fast! And let's be honest, she has a preference for the sleek grey ones. They're just far better than the green and red ones, according to her expert opinion!

Judy has had a wealth of experience in the travel industry. 

Staring out in foreign exchange she quickly realised that being a travel agent was her dream job.

Having worked for large multiple agencies she transferred to a smaller independent agent which enabled her to offer the one to one service she loves to provide.  Judy took a short break away from the travel industry but realised that travel was in her blood so joined Avocet Travel Management.

Throughout her career she has travelled extensively which enables her to offer first hand experience of may places throughout the world.

When asked for her favorite place there was a long silence!  She just could not make her mind up. 

Sri Lanka to visit the Elephant Orphanage, the Maldives to relax on the beach, Borneo to see Orangutan’s in their natural environment and China to see the Great Wall and the Terracotta Army featured in her reply.  Oh, and let’s not forget Austria for a bit of skiing, Canada for the wildlife and Portugal for food and wine!

Though it’s great to travel abroad, some of my fondest travel experiences have been in good old England.

I love travelling to London with family or friends, hunting for bargains in Camden Market or taking in a show—The Lion King and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are magical with children … or without!

While it’s great to sample a tasty delicacy from the eclectic range of street stalls or discover a hidden little restaurant or pub down one of London’s maze of back streets, my family’s most favourite eating place is in Covent Garden in London: a restaurant called Wild Wood directly opposite the doors of the Royal Opera House. Not only are they very welcoming to children, the atmosphere friendly and the food great (especially the berry-topped Belgian waffles with ice cream that come out in their own little frying pan), but on a warm evening they open up the full-size windows at of the front of the restaurant and you can take in London’s busy night life. When there is a major event at the Royal Opera House you have a bird’s eye view from your table of the stars arriving in their limousines!

I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively from the mountains of Morocco to the beaches of the Seychelles, the gardens of Keukenhof to large cities like Paris, Venice,  Los Angeles and Bangkok.

My passion really lies with Horse Racing.  The pomp and ceremony of the event with its people, horses and atmosphere really is a must do!  Dining out at fine restaurants is a guilty pleasure I also enjoy from time to time.

Business Development has always been part of my life.  Interacting with a variety of people and businesses really excites me.  My role within Avocet Travel Management  has pulled together my passion for travel and Business Development.
